These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EchoBackAI (the "Service"), operated by EchoBackAI ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or connecting a Google Business Profile, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
EchoBackAI connects to your Google Business Profile, reads reviews left on your business listings, and drafts suggested replies in a tone you configure. Depending on your settings, replies are either posted automatically or held for your approval before they are posted back to Google.
2. Connecting Your Google Account
To use EchoBack, you authorize us to access your Google Business Profile data through Google's official APIs. The access is read-only until you explicitly enable auto-reply for a location. You can revoke this access at any time from within the app or through your Google Account settings, which will stop EchoBack from reading or posting on your behalf.
3. Trial, Subscription & Billing
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required to start.
- After the trial, continued use of the Service requires a paid subscription, currently $20/month, covering unlimited locations and reviews.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance and processed by Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the billing settings in the app; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period unless required by law.
- We may change our pricing with advance notice; continued use after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.
4. Your Responsibilities
You're responsible for the replies posted under your business's name, whether generated by EchoBack or written by you. You agree to:
- Only connect Google Business Profiles you're authorized to manage;
- Review AI-drafted replies before enabling auto-post for a location, and use good judgment about what gets posted automatically;
- Comply with Google's own policies for Business Profile content and review responses;
- Not use the Service to post false, defamatory, harassing, or misleading content.
5. AI-Generated Content
Reply drafts are generated by an AI language model based on the review text and the tone you select. Drafts may occasionally be inaccurate, generic, or not reflect your intent. You are responsible for reviewing any reply before it is enabled for automatic posting, and for correcting or removing replies you don't stand behind. EchoBack is not liable for the content of replies you approve or that are posted under auto-reply settings you configured.
6. Suspension & Termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect your Google account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required to do so by Google or applicable law. Upon termination, we will stop accessing your Google data and will delete stored tokens as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that reviews will sync instantly, that AI-drafted replies will always be accurate or appropriate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoBackAI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reputational harm from a posted reply. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
